Snapshots and Stories Parties
There’s something special about sitting at a table with a stack of old photos and your family or friends.
People start talking and sharing stories. They laugh together and deepen their connections to the past and to those around them. But for many adults, those boxes of photos feel overwhelming instead of joyful. When we feel overwhelmed, we stop organizing them and anxiety replaces the joy that those photos hold.
That’s why I’m beginning to host Snapshots and Stories parties.
What Is a Snapshots and Stories Party?
It’s a small, welcoming gathering where:
You bring a box of printed photos
We sort them into simple categories
We remove duplicates
We label meaningful memories
We decide what to keep, scan, or pass on
There’s no pressure to finish everything; just progress and conversation.
If you’ve been putting off sorting because it feels too big…you don’t have to do it alone. Together we can make it manageable.
Snapshots and Stories Parties are about progress, connection, and honoring your life — one photo at a time.
If you’d like to host one for your group, church, senior center, or neighborhood, I’d love to talk.
